Glöm inte att uppdatera databasen på dina Lync servrar. På en standard server är kommadot:

Install-CsDatabase -ConfiguredDatabases -SqlServerFqdn SE.FQDN -Verbose

På en företags server med backend databas är kommandot:
Install-CsDatabase -ConfiguredDatabases -SqlServerFqdn SQL.FQDN -Verbose

Om du har en lösning med SQL och en spegel kopia, gör så här:

Recommend that you use the Invoke-CsDatabaseFailover -NewPrincipal Primary cmdlet and verify that the primary server is principal before you run the Install-CsDatabase cmdlet.

Ett bra Powershell kommando att testa i detta sammanhanget är: Get-CsPoolUpgradeReadinessState

KB 2809243 article includes a DETAILED list of installation steps, where previously there has been some ambiguity (particularly around the database updates).

Do not forget to update your database on onyour Lync serversr. At a Lync standard server is the command:

Install-CsDatabase -ConfiguredDatabases -SqlServerFqdn SE.FQDN -Verbose

At a Lync Enterprise server the command is:
Install-CsDatabase -ConfiguredDatabases -SqlServerFqdn SQL.FQDN -Verbose

If your SQL has a mirrored solution, do like this:

If database mirroring is enabled for your back end databases, we strongly recommended that you use the Invoke-CsDatabaseFailover -NewPrincipal Primary cmdlet and verify that the primary server is principal for all databases before you run the Install-CsDatabase cmdlet.

A good Powershell command to test is: Get-CsPoolUpgradeReadinessState
